I remember the time when I thought proudly on the Minnesota local music scene and that feeling seemed to dissipate.  Either I was falling out of touch with local music, or the music simply wasn’t there.  After going out to see for myself many local music acts in the area I decided it must have been the first option.  I had been falling away - But Why?

As I got back into the music scene myself, I found it difficult to really find out what was going on in the area.  Who should I go see?  Who is having a show this week?  I went to a few different websites and merged the resulting information together in my mind to come up with the answer.  I thought to myself, “Wouldn’t it be nice if there was just one good concert calendar in town?”

As you probably have guessed, that is what I would like this site to become.  However, I need help from the local artists.  They will have the ability to have full control over their profile, concert calendar, and share some songs if they would like.

This site hopes to bridge the gap between those who love listening and seeing music shows, with those that love playing and putting those shows on.

The time has come to put Minneapolis and Minnesota back on the map as a musical powerhouse.  Let this site be your guide to that movement.  Help us become synonymous with a name as cool as Mr. Black.  After all, no one wants to be Mr. Pink.
